During Week Two of my Lamar EDLD 5363 Multimedia and Video Technology course, we were assigned to create a tutorial podcast for the video editing software of our choice. Well, as I read and re-read the assignment, it was unclear whether we were to create just an audio podcast or a video podcast; towards the end of the assignment it refers to "uploading your video" despite the fact Audacity is required as an audio production tool, and Audactity is audio-only.

To make sure I was covered, and as this is a video course, I did both. I concentrated by efforts on the design and script for a four-minute audio podcast (any shorter length did not allow for a start-to-finish tutoring) but I also expanded upon the script and used Camtasia to create a video podcast or vodcast.

More information about these podcats, including copies of my podcast plan and podcast script, are available on my blog at http://educatingforourfuture.blogspot.com
